INGREDIENTS: (12 serves)
1/2 cup unsweetened chocolate.
2 eggs.
1 cup granulated sugar.
1/4 cup vegetable oil.
1 teaspoon baking powder.
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.
1 cup all-purpose flour.
1/4 cup powdered sugar.
PREPARATION:
1. Melt chocolate over a double boiler and cool slightly.
2. Combine chocolate and remaining ingredients, except powdered sugar, in a mixer and blend until just combined (don’t overwork the dough). Let dough rest 2-24 hours before proceeding with recipe.
3. Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Line sheet pans with parchment paper.
4. Portion into even-sized balls and roll in powdered sugar. Place onto prepared sheet pans and bake for 12-15 minutes.
