Students at the Porter-Gaud School in Charleston, SC, recently enjoyed a celebration of Argentine history and culture, including a delicious feast in the dining hall. The school's Spanish Language and Culture class learned how to tango, courtesy of the Argentina Charleston Society. Students researched the geography, economy, climate and culture of the South American nation, offering their presentations to the class in Spanish. At lunch, the entire student community enjoyed a taste of Argentine cuisine -- including roast beef, empanadas, spicy sauces and pastries -- as part of SAGE's Educational Seasonings program.
